Patsy Rodenburg

Patsy Rodenburg Associate and holds Canadian, British, and Irish citizenship.

Recently, Lee played Prospero in Wishing Well Theatre’s (Fenton, Michigan, USA) production of The Tempest directed by Karen Sheridan.

Founding artistic director of Resurgence Theatre Company (Newmarket, Ontario, Canada) where he directed critically acclaimed productions of Hamlet, Twelfth Night and Romeo and Juliet. Nominated by his peers for the Christopher Plummer Fellowship Award for his outstanding contribution to the classics and Shakespeare performance in Canada (Globe Theatre/Globe Centre in Canada).

Other work: Michael Langham Workshop for Directors and Birmingham Conservatory for Classical Theatre Training (Stratford Festival); assistant director on As You Like It, Measure for Measure, The Who’s Tommy and The Tempest film and stage production starring Christopher Plummer (Stratford); Intern Director at the Shaw Festival; Inaugural Soulpepper Training Company with Robin Phillips. In Dublin, Ireland, Lee has worked at Theatre@36, The New Theatre, The Project Arts Centre, Smock Alley, O’Reilly Theatre, and The Gate Theatre.

Associate member of ADA (Association of Drama Adjudicators) in Ireland; MFA in Directing from The Lir, Irelands National Academy of Dramatic Art, Trinity College, Dublin; BFA in Acting from Toronto Metropolitan University, Toronto, Canada.
