The Patsy Rodenburg Associate Programme (PRA)
This programme is suitable for all of you who are passionate about teaching presence, voice and speech, who want to explore storytelling and the great English classical texts and poetry. Patsy has always recognized the extraordinary teachers she has had and the knowledge they have generously given her. The PRA will gather in this spirit to exchange knowledge in a safe space, enabling us to have the difficult conversations that moral teaching is all about. Every teacher should be continually aware of their power, and when we teach Presence, Body and Voice this awareness should be consciously discussed.
It would be expected that you will have worked with Patsy before you apply for this course. Classes will be small. There will be two stages, each lasting four weeks (typically Mon-Fri) in two consecutive years. These courses will take place over June and July on Patsy’s farm in Portugal.
Duration: 8 weeks in total. Two 4-week spans, each taking place early summer.

If you would like to be considered for the PRA Programme intake in 2024, please send a comprehensive bio to info@patsyrodenburg.co.uk detailing your theatre/corporate experience with dates. This will be a carefully curated group and students will be invited to take part by Patsy; there is no automatic enrolment.
