Introduction to the Work

Breath, Voice, Presence

The Introduction workshop will be taught by one of Patsy’s Associate teachers, each of whom has significant theatre and/or acting experience; an identical format is used by all. We are offering different time zones so that you have a wider choice of availability, wherever you are based. You can calculate time zone differents with this tool

If you have not yet started Patsy’s work and want to gain an insight into her teaching, this introductory workshop is the perfect place to start. Completion of The Introduction to the Work course will allow you, subject to the approval of the course tutor, to take part in The Full Craft, a 5 day intensive class taught by Patsy.


You will be lead through a series of exercises as a group in body, breath, voice and presence to deepen your personal impact. Students are asked to prepare in advance a poem of their choice.Learn it by heart or at least work it thoroughly.

There will be no more than ten students in each workshop.
