The Full Craft
5-day Intensive workshop incorporating Presence and Voice and Delivering Shakespeare
This course is designed for performers with a substantial level of theatre or public speaking experience who want to work in an ensemble with generosity to the group, text and audience. For each individual this workshop may either be an introduction to, or a revision of, the craft.
It will explore and embody all the craft needed to deliver a text-Presence, Body, Breath, Voice and Speech-to understand structures, excavate the exactness of the language and enter the text.
All the work will be applicable to any text and any performer who wants to work with their full presence and voice in a group that respects each other, the text and the audience.
PR believes that a 5-day workshop will be more effective and potent than the current three days classes. The critical start in any workshop/rehearsal process is in creating a group that can work together. This gathering of the group’s intent is something that PR does within the first day of any workshop. Once the group is formed, the work accelerates and will have a powerful trajectory over 5 days rather than 3. In this way, a 5-day course will accomplish more than two consecutive 3-day courses.

Duration: 5 days
Prerequisite: Participants must have completed Introduction to the Work, or be professional actors, or have previously worked with Patsy. Participants can apply for a waiver if they don’t meet the prerequisites.
